1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using CardShilp ("the Service"), available at cardshilp.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CardShilp is a browser-based card design tool that allows users to create invitation and event cards for occasions across all religions. The Service offers a Starter plan and a paid Pro plan:
- A drag-and-drop card designer
- Pre-built cultural themes and templates
- Religious icons and decorative elements
- Export functionality (PNG with Starter; JPG, PDF, GIF, MP4, WebM with Pro)
- Share functionality (WhatsApp, Email)
- Cloud storage of card designs (with account)
- Animation mode & animated stickers (Pro)
- Verse & prayer picker, multi-language translation (Pro)
3. Pricing & Payments
3.1 Starter Plan
The Starter plan provides access to basic features including 4 themes, 10 templates, 2 icons per religion, PNG export (with watermark), and up to 5 saved cards. No payment is required.
3.2 Pro Tier
The Pro upgrade is available as a one-time payment of ₹120 (Indian Rupees) for lifetime access. Once purchased, Pro features are permanently unlocked for your account with no recurring charges or subscription fees.
3.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Razorpay, a RBI-licensed payment aggregator. We do not store your card details, CVV, UPI PIN, or any sensitive payment information. By making a purchase, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service.
3.4 Refund Policy
Since Pro is a digital product with instant delivery, refunds are generally not offered once the upgrade is activated. However, if you experience a technical issue preventing access to Pro features, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve the issue or process a refund.
4. Accounts
You may create an account to save your card designs to the cloud. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account without permission.
5. User Content
5.1 Your Designs
All card designs you create using CardShilp are your property. We do not claim ownership of any content you create.
5.2 Uploaded Images
When you upload images to use in your designs, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use them. You retain all rights to your uploaded content.
5.3 Watermark
Starter plan PNG exports include a small CardShilp watermark. Pro users enjoy watermark-removed exports across all formats including JPG, PDF, GIF, MP4, and WebM.
5.4 Restrictions
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or objectionable.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Distribute spam, phishing content, or malware.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
The CardShilp name, logo, design themes, religious icon SVGs, templates, and the underlying code are the intellectual property of CardShilp. You may not copy, modify, or distribute these without permission.
6.2 Religious Symbols
The religious symbols and icons provided in CardShilp are offered respectfully for their intended cultural and religious purposes. We request that users treat these symbols with appropriate respect.
7. Third-Party Services
CardShilp integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Google Fonts, Google Analytics, Razorpay, and Formspree. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Availability & Modifications
We strive to keep CardShilp available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardShilp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we may retain your data for a reasonable period as required by law.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
